These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of basecamptherapy.ca (the "Site") and the information and services offered through it. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About Basecamp Therapy

Basecamp Therapy is an online psychotherapy practice serving men across Ontario, Canada, operated by Jordan Wiener, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Not a crisis or emergency service

The Site and our services are not intended for emergencies or urgent crises. If you are in crisis, experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others, or facing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. In Canada, you can also reach the 988 Suicide Crisis Helpline by calling or texting 988. Do not use this Site or its contact forms to seek emergency help.

Informational content only

Content on the Site, including blog articles, service descriptions, and self-reflection tools, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a therapist-client relationship. A therapist-client relationship is established only through a formal intake process, not through use of the Site.

Self-reflection tools

Any self-check or self-reflection tools offered on the Site are for personal reflection only. They are not diagnostic instruments, do not provide a clinical diagnosis, and should not be relied on as such. Results do not constitute professional advice.

Booking and services

Consultations and sessions are booked and delivered through third-party platforms (such as Jane App for booking and secure video). Fees, scheduling, cancellations, and session terms are communicated during intake and booking. Services are available to individuals located in Ontario, Canada.

Eligibility

The Site is intended for adults. By using it, you confirm you are of the age of majority in your province of residence.

Intellectual property

The content, branding, and materials on the Site are owned by or licensed to Basecamp Therapy and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission, except as permitted by law.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Basecamp Therapy is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
